Wow, time flies and here it is Spring again (woo hoo) and lot's of activities in planning, with some dates set now, such as a camp May 31st for the Discovery Rangers. Following that will be our annual District Pow Wow, June 21-23.
Looks like we may have a rocket derby this summer, probably in July. This event always brings out the boys and the boy in our leaders! Love watching every launch, with so many different types of rockets available.
September 22 will be our Central Ohio Royal Rangers Gold Medal Camp, held at the Slate Run Youth Camping area. This camp boasts of Extreme Games, and always an opportunity for boys to earn a merit while at camp. The fun, food, fellowship and training are always inviting, and not the least of course, our Council Fire ministry time with skits, worship music and dynamic speakers.
We trust we will again be able to plan our All Rangers outdoor Council Fire in the Fall, with lot's of games, food and fellowship for boys, leaders and most of the parents of our Rangers.
